Physical Requirements:This position requires intermittently sitting at a computer workstation; performing tasks with repetitive motions (such as typing); standing or walking with objects weighing up to 10 pounds; lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects weighing up to 50 pounds; and occasionally standing or walking with objects weighing up to 25 pounds. Also involves some risk of back injury from moving, lifting or positioning patients, equipment, or materials; risk of injuries from use of equipment on the job; and exposure to blood-borne or airborne pathogens, hazardous chemicals and fumes including waste, cuts/punctures, burns, and combative/violent people.
Shift:Primarily dayshifts but may vary depending on services to be provided. May include evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Hours, days of week, and location subject to change based on needs of the department.
Job Summary:The Amb/Retail Pharmacist Clinical Staff/UKHC will support the PharmacistCare coordinator and other staff helping to support the coordination of immunization, point of care testing programs, and other services provided by the pharmacy. This position will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team providing immunizations and clinical diagnostic services to patients following approved protocols. This position will provide greater access to care for patients and support pharmacy services serving as a pharmacist role model.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities:Strong clinical and organization skills, knowledge of board approved protocols, training in multiple disease states with ACPE accreditation, teamwork, knowledge of laws and policies/procedures.

Preferred Education/Experience:PharmD preferred and experience and training with immunization and point of care testing is preferred.
