Salary: $24.72 - $35.41 hourly
Reporting to the UC Chief Fire and Life Safety Officer (FLSO) in the department of UCLA Environment, Health & Safety, provide personnel, financial and administrative support to the Department as well as the UC Office of the President Office of Risk Services (OPRS), as assigned. Process and track purchase requisitions and blanket orders; perform ledger reconciliation; administer the equipment management process; and, serve as liaison to high-level university administrators, department administrators and community contacts. Coordinate all aspects of meeting logistics (calendar, prepare agenda and meeting documents, secure equipment and room set-up, catering, etc.). Develop and maintain department reports, forms and documents. Responsible for the student worker employees which includes, posting, interviewing, hiring, scheduling and work load. Coordinate onboarding for all new employees. Serve as back up for generating job requisitions, receiving and screening resumes and scheduling interviews.
