Position Summary: The Sleep Technologist performs a variety of sleep studies to diagnose the type and extent of disorders. The Sleep Technologist works closely with patients to diagnose and determine therapy for patients with a variety of disorders related to sleep. Technologists record and score sleep data and prepare raw data for physician and/or research interpretation.Salary Range:

Required Qualifications:- 3 + years direct patient care experience in a Sleep Disorder clinic, with a minimum of 2 years as an RPSGTRegistered Polysomnographic Technologist through the BRPTRegistration through the Medical Board of California as a Polysomnographic Technologist Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the HealthSystem Ability to function independently with minimal supervision Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload Associates degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience BLS Required Computer skills appropriate to the job Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties Preferred Qualifications: 6 months working in an accredited sleep centerBilingual in English and SpanishDigital and Analog equipment experience (BiPAP, AVAPS, ASV, oxygen titration and ETCO2/TcCO2)Basic Arrhythmia Recognition and Treatment training (BART)Bachelor's Degree in related field Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
