Position Summary:

Reporting to the Principal Electronics Technician, Supervisor, incumbent provides financial and technical analyses and reporting in support of the efficient functioning of the Biomedical Engineering department. Analyzes equipment inventory management and expenditures; ensures data integrity of the CMMS system; tracks and trends equipment repair and preventive maintenance. Provides budget and expense analyses. Manages service agreements and renewals. Provides overall department administrative support as needed.

Hourly Rate $21.982759 $33.572797 $45.019157

Required Qualifications:

• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
• Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
• Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Bachelor's Degree in Business or related area or 5 years of relevant education and experience in a hospital setting
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Knowledge of basic Accounting Principles
• Prior experience in Purchasing function
• Working knowledge of the Medical Equipment Management System
• Demonstrated excellent data entry skills
• Understanding and previous experience maintaining multiple alpha and numeric filing systems.
• Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
• Ability to produce work that is consistently accurate and proofread own work for the purpose of correcting errors

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of computer medical equipment data management system (CMMS)
• Associates Degree in Business Management or related area or two years of relevant education and experience in a hospital setting
• Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
