Nature of Work:This position will be part-time, non-benefitted, working up to 19 hours per week. This position will coordinate activities relating to Multicultural Achievement Mentoring Program to support connection, persistence, and graduation. DMA’s MAP Coordinator is the key campus personnel responsible for meeting UWG’s obligation to the academic success of this growing student population (more than 100 MAP students currently attend UWG). Duties of this role are vital to this student success include, but are not limited to; developing and maintaining collaborative relationships with academic departments, both faculty and staff, in collecting academic class scheduling and other pertinent information for the creation of student success plans; planning, managing; initiating on-campus collaborations with appropriate personnel in such co-curricular first-year programs as the African American Male Initiative (AAMI) with a documented record of improving retention and progression rates among underrepresented student populations. This position will also plan and be responsible for programs designed to cultivate global insight and foster educational awareness to support various student populations within the program. Will work 19 hours per week.
Required Qualifications :High School diploma and 2-4 years administrative experience.

Salary:$14.48 minimum to $17.85 midpoint
