Augusta University is seeking to fill a tenure-track position in applied mathematics, at the rank of Assistant Professor, to begin in August 2021. Successful candidates should have a research program which will allow them to pursue external funding. Candidates whose research program lends itself to interdisciplinary collaborations, particularly with the biomedical and health science disciplines, are particularly encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will teach courses in the Biological and Computational Mathematics master’s program.

Minimum Requirements

Candidates must hold a doctorate in mathematics and have a commitment to excellence in teaching.

Conditions of Employment

All candidates are required to successfully pass a Background Check review. For specific positions, the final candidate may be subject to a (pre-employment) physical, drug screen, and/or credit check.

The final candidate will be required to provide proof of completed academic degree(s) as well as post-secondary coursework in the form of original transcript(s). Those candidates trained by a foreign institution will also be required to provide an educational/credential evaluation.
