Required Qualifications Ph.D. or Psy.D. in psychology from an accredited college or university and eligibility for licensure as a psychologist in Georgia.Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Ability to maintain confidentialitySelf-motivated and able to work independentlyExcellent verbal, written and interpersonal skillsProficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software/databasesDetail-oriented with strong organizational, analytical, multi-tasking and prioritization skillsResponsibilities This is a postdoctoral fellow in the psychology child and adolescent division. This position serves as a clinical provider, researcher, and teaching/supervisor assistant position within the Department of Psychiatry and Health Behavior overall, including a significant role within the Psychology Division, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry division, and the psychology internship program.The duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Provide clinical psychotherapy services to the community, specifically children and adolescents in various clinics within MCG/AU.
  • Supervise psychology interns, as well as, teach didactics and seminars weekly to medical students, interns, and residents on a series of various mental health topics.
  • Perform systematic research, collaborating on departmental research projects, as well as your own research.
  • Perform all other related duties/tasks as assigned.
