- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software/databases
- Willingness and ability to work with research ability
- Experience in lab setting designing and executing research protocols, and collecting and analyzing quantitative data
- Experience in developing and maintaining scientific databases in a lab setting
- Experience and proficiency in immunohistochemistry, histology, western blot, and small animal surgery
- Performs experiments and evaluates data collected as directed by PI
- Maintains inventory; ordering and cataloging equipment and reagents
- Prepares media, stains, and reagents
- Calibrates, troubleshoots, and makes minor repairs on lap equipment
- Ensures compliance with rules and regulations related to use of biohazard materials, animals and safety standards
- Perform all other related duties as assigned
