The Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University, Department of Medicine - Nephrology, seeks subspecialty board eligible/board certified academic physician to join its full-time faculty in Nephrology. Academic appointment, tenure status and salary depend upon qualifications and experience. This position is a clinician educator who will be involved in patient care, research & education. Responsibilities include: participating in renal consult service, yellow medicine ward service, continuity clinics, staffing dialysis unit shifts and also serving as teaching attending at the Augusta University hospital clinics, participate & attend educational conferences as well as participate in night, weekend, and holiday call.

Minimum Requirements

MD Degree, Board Eligible/Board Certified

Conditions of Employment All candidates are required to successfully pass a Background Check review. For specific positions, the final candidate may be subject to a (pre-employment) physical, drug screen, and/or credit check.

The final candidate will be required to provide proof of completed academic degree(s) as well as post-secondary course work in the form of original transcript(s). Those candidates trained by a foreign institution will also be required to provide an educational/credential evaluation.
