Must be able to lift/carry 75 lbsAbility to maintain confidentiality Willingness and ability to enter areas Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and prioritizeProficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software/databasesExcellent interpersonal, customer service, written and verbal communication skillsAbility to read and interpret blueprints, schematic drawings, and technical instructions Certifications Valid driver's license and qualified to operate Augusta University vehicles; Must have, or be able to obtain within 6 months, EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification Preferred At least one year of Johnson Controls Metasys experience.Seven or more years' applicable maintenance experience.Technical school certificate in related field.Licensed Stationary Engineer Responsibilities This position performs preventive maintenance, inspections, diagnosis, and repair of mechanical equipment and systems in the Central and South Energy Plants and other areas for which the Plant Operations is responsible. Typical equipment includes boilers, chillers, cooling towers, pumps, compressors, etc. Also may have to monitor and operate equipment via the Metasys facility management system in absence of the Maintenance Technician. Regular working hours for this position are 8:00am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday, but may be required to work a different shift temporarily to insure adequate coverage. Position may be required to be on-call after hours and on weekends. The duties include, but are not limited to:
Troubleshoot and repair of equipment and systems. This includes repairs and utility shutdowns scheduled afterhours.Complete preventive maintenance work orders.Train other Plant 1 Operation employees as directed.Perform housekeeping and cleanup duties on equipment and building spaces.Attend training on equipment and systems.Perform all other duties/tasks as required.
Shift/Salary Shift: Days/M-F, The regular working hours for this position are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday and must work mandatory overtime which can include holidays, weekends, and after regular working hours. Pay Grade: 11 Salary: $14.01/hr - $16.39/hr
