The Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University is recruiting a full time BC/BE interventional cardiologist to join a collaborative group of four interventionalists, four electrophysiologists, twelve general cardiologists, two cardiac surgeons and two vascular surgeons. Augusta University has the region’s only academic medical center with a dedicated heart and vascular program that offers the broadest range of services for adults and children in this region. Our dedicated team of cardiologists, advanced practice providers and nurses take care of patients with the most complex heart and vascular issues. As our practice continues to grow and expand we are in need of an additional interventionalist with strong academic, and clinical skills to join our very busy team.

This position will provide interventional services at the Augusta University Medical Center and area community hospitals as needed. The position will require high level leadership and technical skills including proficiency in coronary interventions and ability to work with a multi-disciplinary heart team, Inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular consultative services with emphasis on coronary and structural heart disease management.

Minimum Requirements

Board Certified/Board Eligible Interventional Cardiologist

The final candidate will be required to provide proof of completed academic degree in the form of an original transcript. Those candidates trained by a foreign institution will also be required to provide an educational/credential evaluation.
