Minimum Requirements
  • Licensed/Certified as a CNA/CMA in the State of Georgia.
  • Prefer one year of clinical experience.
  • Active CPR certification and 1 year of nursing assistant experience
  • Current BCLS certification.
  • Must relate well to patients, security staff, visitors and co-workers.
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs.
  • Normal bending, reaching, stooping. Standing and sitting for long periods of time. Must be able to move quickly across the compound in cases of emergency.
  • Must be able to perform BCLS.
  • Security clearance by the Georgia Department of Corrections.
  • Responsibilities

    Duties to include , but are not limited to-Under general supervision, provides direct patient care services including, all services within scope of certification, in addition to oral medication administration for out-patient services only, provides for patient safety, comfort, and personal hygiene. Takes vital signs, records information in patient's chart, observes reactions and prepares patients for examination as necessary.
    Certificate of completion of a national or state approved Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant program. Active CPR certification and 1 year of nursing assistant experience.
