Minimum Requirements

Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant in the state of Georgia. Graduate of an approved college/university physician assistant program/or nurse practitioner certification with current certification/licensure in the State of Georgia, two years of experience.

Licensed to practice as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in the State of Georgia. Must have current CPR, ACLS ,BCLS certification is required as per institutional needs and Medical Director guidance.

Must be able to work with other providers and interact effectively with inmates, administration, nursing, and security staff at all levels that supervise inmates.

Must be able to evaluate and treat general medical and health needs of inmates.

Responsibilities

Duties to include but are not limited to:

Provides basic medical services under the supervision of a licensed physician. Utilizes professional medical skills to meet a variety of health care needs, with ambulatory care as primary focus.
Graduate of an approved college/university physician assistant program/or nurse practitioner certification with current certification/licensure in the State of Georgia. Must have current CPR certification.

Minimum Salary $69,398.00

Salary to commensurate with qualifications adn experience of candidate.
