Applicants must be board-certified in pediatrics and BC/BE in pediatric pulmonology. The Division of Pulmonology provides comprehensive consultation, evaluation, diagnostic and management services for children with a wide array of pulmonary diseases. The Division of Pediatric Pulmonology also includes a Cystic Fibrosis (CF) Center, which is a Cystic Fibrosis Foundation-supported program that is committed to the highest standards and aggressive clinical care required for optimal health for patients with CF. The CF Center is actively involved in a number of clinical research trials and was recently recognized for its initiatives in quality improvement. Inpatient and outpatient pulmonary consultation is provided for the management of a wide range of pediatric pulmonary diseases, including asthma, chronic lung disease, interstitial lung disease, pulmonary vascular disease, and restrictive lung disease and management of home mechanical ventilation. The Division includes a comprehensive pediatric sleep medicine program. A Pediatric Pulmonary Function Laboratory provides complete diagnostic testing including spirometry, lung volumes, diffusion capacity, sweat testing, exercise challenge and bronchoscopy. The successful candidate for this position will have a passion for clinical care in an academic setting and a strong interest in teaching medical students and residents.Minimum Requirements
Medical degree from an accredited medical school/university, Board Certified in Pediatrics, Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatric Pulmonology.
Must have or be able to obtain a State of Georgia Medical License, Federal DEA, and have CPR certification.Shift/Salary
