Four or more years of applicable maintenance experience; Experience with refrigeration system, pneumatic controls and/or Johnson Controls Metasys or similar; Non-restricted Condition Air license in the state of GeorgiaResponsibilities This position primarily maintains, but can assist or carry out repairs on heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment assigned to the General Maintenance Shop or HVAC/EMS Shop. This position is primarily responsible for preventative maintenance on heating, air-cooled chillers, ventilation, air conditioning systems, chilled water fed systems and other related HVAC equipment which include pneumatics and DDC controls equipment. Technician is responsible for testing electrical circuits and components which are related to above equipment. The regular working hours are 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday and requires occasional overtime. The duties include, but are not limited to:
    Responds to and completed preventative maintenance related work orders; Assist in troubleshoot and repairs on HVAC related equipment to include larger air handling units with other related components; Obtain vendor information and consult drawings/schematics and operation/maintenance manuals as needed; Purchases required parts and suppliesSets up and performs shutdowns as required by Facilities Operations or others.Support other maintenance shops in performing work unrelated to normal assignments which can include Facilities Operations Shutdowns and emergency maintenance.Performs all other related duties/tasks as assigned.
Shift/Salary Shift: Days/M-F; Occasional overtime is required Pay Grade: 9 Salary: $13.01/hr - $13.45/hr Salary to be commensurate with qualifications of selected candidate within the established range (generally minimum-midpoint) of the position Recruitment Period: 10/6/2019 - Until FilledConditions of Employment All candidates are required to successfully pass a Background Check review prior to starting with Augusta University.
