Deputy Title IX Coordinator/Senior Title IX Investigator

Nova Southeastern University is seeking a Deputy Title IX Coordinator & Senior Title IX Investigator to support the University's efforts to prevent and respond to sexual misconduct affecting the NSU community.  This is a unique Deputy role in that it has two main key functions: first to serve as the lead University investigator for reports of student sexual misconduct and second to lead enterprise-wide sexual misconduct prevention education for audiences including preK-12th graders, undergraduate students, and graduate and professional students.  The Deputy also serves as the designee and backup for the Title IX Coordinator when needed. 

NSU’s Title IX staff are positioned within the Office for Human Resources given its enterprise-wide scope across the University, including eight regional campuses as well as the NSU University School, a prek-12th grade college preparatory school. NSU seeks a driven and inspiring individual to continue to elevate NSU’s Title IX program to be a student-centered, best-practices model that goes beyond basic compliance with Title IX. To that end, NSU’s Title IX programs serve to not only educate students about their rights and responsibilities, but also to support the career preparation of professional students, especially in medical fields, who can make a difference in eradicating sexual harassment and violence in their professions and communities beyond NSU.

Position Qualifications
Minimum qualifications include: a Bachelor’s degree; at least five years of relevant related experience, including two years of experience in investigating reports of sexual misconduct, sexual violence and hostile environment; and experience providing education, training, and/or outreach programming to diverse audiences.
