Job SummaryJCCC is searching to fill our vacant Assistant Professor, Business Administration position. This position will teach the equivalent of 15 credit hours per semester in Business Administration. This position will perform other duties expected of full-time faculty, including maintaining scheduled office hours; developing and revising curriculum; developing and implementing course and program assessment of student learning outcomes; developing and maintaining relationships with industry and academic partners; participating in college, division, and department meetings; serving on committees; recruiting students; and other duties as assigned.
Required QualificationsMBA or Masters degree in Management, Human Resources, Management Sciences, Decision Sciences, Marketing, Public Administration, or related field
Minimum of three years relevant work experience
Minimum two years teaching experience, delivering courses online and face-to-face
Ability to teach a variety of business courses as demonstrated by professional experience or prior teaching experience
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
A sensitivity to, and understanding of, the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, ethnic, and abilities backgrounds of community college students
Experience teaching in face to face, online, and/or blending learning environments
Doctorate degree in relevant field
Creative and innovative approaches to teaching and student learning
Demonstrated professional development activities
