Will provide leadership to the Student Government Association of Florida State University working directly with the Legislative Branches of Student Government including the Student Senate, standing committees, and funding boards. Will be responsible for attending meetings and events, meets one on one with top student leaders, and provide guidance and support.

Interprets, applies, and ensures compliance with Student Body Statutes, the Florida Administrative Code, State of Florida Statues and Laws, and the rules and regulations of the Florida State University. Ensuring proper and timely processing of legislative bills, resolutions, journal, calendar, open positions, and reports. Provides training materials, learning outcomes, and assessment for all student leaders.

Will provide direction and oversight of departmental marketing initiatives and Student Publications, ensuring strategic marketing, active participation in Division and University Communications networks

Directly supervise the Student Governance and Advocacy Media Specialist, Webmaster and Office Administrator, performing evaluations and trainings as necessary.

Will advise the SGA Supervisor of Elections, including the management and support of three campus-wide elections, elections and appeals processes, and overall oversight of technical elections processes.

Attend SGA entity sponsored programs, establish connections with students, and have overall knowledge of SGA and Florida State University.Qualifications Bachelor's degree and four years of experience related to the duties of this position; or a high school diploma/equivalency and eight years of experience related to the duties of this position.

(Note: a combination of post high school education and experience equal to eight years.)

Experience leading and supervising employees.
