Dr. Yi-Hui Zhou’s Lab for high dimensional predictive biology at North Carolina
State University is looking for a Postdoctoral Research Scholar in Statistical Theorem.The high dimensional predictive biology lab at NCSU focuses on statistical modeling development to improve individualized treatment. The lab develops and applies machine learning/statistical techniques to discover genetics and to perform prediction. Inclusiveness and diversity are critical to the success of the College of Sciences and the University. The selected candidate will be expected to foster an environment that is supportive and welcoming of all groups.
The research scholar will develop novel methodology to experimental and observation biomedical data. The data is high dimensional which is not limited to omics data or image data. The research scholar will build statistical theory and develop computational tools. The research areas will include: (1) integrative analysis of image and omics data (2) network analysis (3) machine/deep learning-based analysis of large-scale health data.Other Work/Responsibilities:
Assist PI on interdisciplinary projects. Meeting with the PI regularly to discuss grant writing and proposals.Work Schedule:
8AM - 5PM, Monday - FridayDepartment Required Skills:
