General Summary of Position:

The Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Massachusetts Lowell invites applications for Adjunct Professors (standard teaching load 1-2 courses per semester). The successful candidates will be expected to begin work in January 2021 and assist in teaching a range of classes including introductory biology and/or one or more upper level labs (microbiology, immunology, biochemistry).

Minimum Qualifications (Required):

• Applicants must have earned an MS or PhD degree in biology, or closely related discipline

Additional Considerations:

• College-level teaching experience
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to speak and write English clearly
• Ability to work effectively with students, faculty and diverse populations
