Distinguished Visiting Scholars - Faculty
The University at Buffalo’s Center for Diversity Innovation Distinguished Visiting Scholars program for faculty.
Applications sought from exceptionally accomplished individuals who, through their record of scholarship and/or creative endeavors, teaching, mentoring, and service, as well as their skills, experiences, underrepresentation, and areas of scholarly and/or creative expertise, can substantially advance diversity, equity, and inclusion at the University of Buffalo. Deadline: January 31, 2021.
PROGRAM: One year (10 month), temporary, full-time, residential, salaried position ($115,000) (benefits eligible) as a Distinguished Visiting Scholar. The program will host a cohort of 8 Scholars annually.
ELIGIBILITY: Advanced assistant professors, associate or full professors or highly accomplished non-academics whose profile matches the needs of the program and would be qualified to obtain tenure in a UB department. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States. No sponsorship is available for this position.
