Position Summary:

The Department of Biology at Rollins College invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor of Biology, beginning August 2021. Area of specialization is open, with a preference for candidates who can contribute expertise beyond that of our current faculty (see our departmental website at www.rollins.edu/biology). The successful candidate must demonstrate a commitment to teaching excellence and experience at a liberal arts institution is preferred.

Teaching responsibilities will include participating in our team-taught General Biology series for majors, an advanced course in the area of expertise, and developing and teaching a general education course for non-science majors. Ph.D. in the biological sciences and post-doctoral experience required.
