Required Qualifications: Applicants must specifically address how they meet these required qualifications to meet the requirements of the position.:

Bachelor’s degree;
Supervisory experience;
Knowledge of college admissions policies and procedures;
Strong and effective communication skills;
Strong organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree;
5 years of experience in college admissions or higher education;
Experience working in the Banner Student Information System (SIS) or SLATE (CRM);
Admission Processing experience;
5 years progressive supervisory experience;
Experience and success managing large, complex processes;
Experience with the use of data analysis to inform strategic decisions.

Job Description:

Reporting to the Assistant Vice President of Enrollment Management & Director of Admissions, the Associate Director of Processing is a member of the Admissions Leadership team and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Admissions Processing unit. This unit includes applicant processing, transcript evaluations, and residency. This position is responsible for determining the unit’s business needs, quality control, data integrity, reporting, and sets the standards of service for the freshman, transfer, readmit, international, second bachelor and non-degree applicants.

Job Duties:

Develops and implements unit goals and priorities;
Oversees the management of 14 full-time staff members;
Oversees admission appeals and considers grievances in the admissions process;
Enhances working relationships with internal and external communities;
Develops, recommends and implements Admissions policies and procedures;
Maintains processing standards of service;
Responsible for creation and testing of admission application programming.
