Job Description The University of Maryland Department of Emergency Medicine is seeking a post-doctoral fellow to join our growing research team. Responsibilities will include the following:
Perform advanced level research with an emphasis on flow cytometry, protein chemistry and mouse surgery/ in vivo responses.
Independent planning, design, execution and analysis of experiments.
Supervise and train technical personnel, fellows and graduate students involved in experimental research.
Develop protocols for experimental procedures in the lab.
Prepare manuscripts and grant proposals.
Maintain inventory and order supplies
Attend meetings
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
PhD or MD required
Two years of post-degree experience with research background in flow cytometry, analysis of cellular proteins, immunological techniques, cell culture, and small animal surgery
