Job Description
The University of Maryland Department of Emergency Medicine is seeking a post-doctoral fellow to join our growing research team. Responsibilities will include the following:

  • Perform advanced level research with an emphasis on flow cytometry, protein chemistry and mouse surgery/ in vivo responses.
  • Independent planning, design, execution and analysis of experiments.
  • Supervise and train technical personnel, fellows and graduate students involved in experimental research.
  • Develop protocols for experimental procedures in the lab.
  • Prepare manuscripts and grant proposals.
  • Maintain inventory and order supplies
  • Attend meetings
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Qualifications
    • PhD or MD required
    • Two years of post-degree experience with research background in flow cytometry, analysis of cellular proteins, immunological techniques, cell culture, and small animal surgery
