Job Responsibilities

Electricity/Electronics instruction including hands on and theory, classroom management, and administrative tasks that may include reports, syllabus and lesson plan development. Topics include DC/AC Electricity, National Electrical Code, Residential Wiring, and Siemens and Allen Bradley training, blueprint reading, and industrial safety. Ensure that course is taught in accordance with the established syllabi. Recommend for approval adequate instructional materials for course. Recommend adequate laboratory facilities/equipment for assigned course. Supervision of students. Associate's degree in an electrical related field such as Electrical Systems Technology, Electronics Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology or Electrical/Electronics Technology. Machine Tool Technology or a related industrial discipline with five (5) years direct experience in the machining trade preferred. Classes to be taught will occur in various formats and locations to include Cheraw, Pageland, Dillon, and Bennettsville.
