The University of Virginia's interdisciplinary program in Global Studies invites applications for a three-year general faculty position in the Global Environments + Sustainability concentration. The successful applicant will be appointed at the assistant professor level and will be responsible for teaching six undergraduate courses per year. We welcome applicants from all disciplines with experience in the teaching, research, and practice of sustainability related to global environmental challenges, such as climate change, biodiversity loss, urbanization, and environmental policy. Candidates should hold a PhD or appropriate terminal degree by time of appointment.
