Assistant Professor

The Department of Medicine, Division of Cardiology has an opening has an immediate opening for an Adult Congenital Heart Disease (ACHD) Cardiologist. The Cardiologist will provide cardiac care to adolescents and adults with congenital heart disease in the outpatient and inpatient settings and will participate in night and weekend call coverage  for ACHD patients

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Clinical: The primary responsibilities of this position are dedicated to providing patient assessment and care in the Adult and adolescent Congenital Heart Disease and General Cardiology programs. This position will be required to participate in the inpatient and/or cardiology consult service at UCHealth and Childrens Hospital Colorado.
  • Education: The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus is a teaching institution, and this faculty member is expected to provide mentorship and direction to students, residents, and fellows.
  • Research: The division encourages research and scholarly activities. Administrative support is available for grant submission and financial management.
  • Administration: Administrative duties may be assigned to this position in support of the Division’s initiatives and faculty development.
Salary and Benefits:

The salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established at $215,000 - $350,000.

The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.

The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:

  • MD in Cardiology
  • Board eligible OR Board Certified in Adult Congenital Heart Disease
