Under the direction of the Director of Finance & Operations and the Dean, the Administrative Assistant provides administrative support for the Office of the Dean at the College of General Studies.
Running hourly-staff payroll, overseeing faculty & staff travel reports, acting as Facilities liaison for the building, arranging meetings for Dean & Director, coordinating college-wide events, purchasing & processing payments, managing student employment (posting positions, processing paperwork and weekly payroll), interviewing, hiring and supervising work of Dean’s Office student employees, answering phone calls and greeting visitors. Other administrative duties as assigned.Required Skills
BA and 1-3 years of related experience is required. MS Office proficiency required. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle confidential information appropriately. Please include a cover letter in order to be considered.
- Experience with SAP, Zoom, Ariba and Concur
- Experience with higher education administrative support
