Position Highlights:

The Department of Computer Science at the University of Arizona invites applications for tenure-track positions at the Assistant Professor level. We are particularly interested in applicants with a background in Systems, Databases, Natural Language Processing, Deep Learning, Software Engineering, Human Computer Interaction, and Algorithms. Exceptional candidates in other areas are also encouraged to apply.
The Department has a long history of research accomplishment, influential software distribution, and substantial external funding. Current research areas include algorithms, architecture, bioinformatics, compilers, computational geometry, databases, high performance computing, natural language processing, networks, operating systems, security, vision, and visualization.

Duties & Responsibilities:

The faculty member will develop and maintain a top-quality research program, teach graduate and undergraduate courses, and perform service to the department, field, and wider community.

Minimum Qualifications:

Ph.D. in Computer Science or closely related field by the position start date.
