Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine (GSDM) invites applications for a full-time, 12-month, non-tenure track faculty position as a Clinical Assistant/Clinical Associate Professor of Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics. This appointment is effective July 1, 2021.

GSDM, located on the Boston University Medical Campus in Boston’s historic South End, is the premier dental school in Boston serving the needs of a diverse, multicultural patient base. Position Overview:

The responsibilities of this academic position include: clinical instruction and supervision of Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics residents, didactic teaching, mentoring masters-level orthodontic research candidates, and service on dental school, medical campus or university committees.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • DMD/DDS degree or equivalent.
  • Certificate of advanced training in Orthodontics & Dentafacial Orthopedics from an accredited postdoctoral program.
  • 1-3 years of teaching experience in an academic setting preferred.
  • Eligibility for licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Salary is commensurate with experience and rank awarded.
