General Summary
Seeking an experienced teacher educator who has taught courses or has supervised in teacher education with undergraduate teacher candidates.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Teaching may include a number of particular obligations which employees are expected to fulfill, including but not limited to: meeting with students during and outside of assigned classes (including at least one office hour weekly), assessing student work and performance, preparing syllabi and course materials, providing copies of syllabi and course material to their supervisor on request, and assigning and submitting grades in accordance with established Eastern Michigan University schedules.
Qualifications
Applicants should possess at least a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction, Reading, Early Childhood, Educational Psychology, or Educational Learning Technologies and have extensive successful classroom experience in a PK-12 classroom. Preferences will be given to candidates who have also possess teaching experience in teacher education at the undergraduate and graduate level and/or who have served in leadership positions in PK-12 school or district.

The report also contains information about crime statistics for the three most recent calendar years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus; in On-Campus Student Housing Facilities; in Noncampus buildings or property owned or controlled by the University or a recognized student organization; and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from, the campus. The report also contains fire statistics for any fires occurring in an On-Campus Student Housing Facility during the three most recent calendar years.
