General Summary

Applications are being accepted for a Part-Time Lecturer to teach in the School of Communication, Media and Theatre Arts for majors & minors and graduate candidates in Arts Management & Administration. Additional obligations include holding office hours to support classroom activity, assessing student work, preparing syllabi and courses materials, and assigning and submitting student grades.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Teaching the course CTAR 300/552 Arts Management, advising students during and outside of assigned classes, evaluating student work, preparing syllabi and course materials, providing copies of syllabi and course materials to the School Director, and assigning and submitting grades in accordance with established Eastern Michigan University schedules.


Perform related departmental duties as required.

Qualifications

MA, MS, MPA, MBA, MFA, or PhD required. Knowledge and applied experience in the Field of Arts Management & Administration. Experience at the college level preferred.
