Coastal Carolina University is currently accepting applications for the following position: HVAC Technician (Trades Specialist IV) in the Facilities Planning & Management Department.
Duties include, but are not be limited to: maintaining heating and cooling units to ensure proper operation; performing repairs on equipment; maintaining controls systems for HVAC units and buildings; promoting and using best safety practices; providing exceptional customer service to all constituents, including but not limited to, faculty, staff, students, visitors, and the community at large; performing other duties as may be assigned.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) with a minimum of three (3) years experience in the HVAC mechanical field. Three (3) years certification/license, EPA approved freon recovery certification/license and possessing and maintaining a valid driver’s license are required. Three (3) years master mechanical in HVAC mechanical equipment and controls and extensive training in HVAC mechanical equipment and controls through factor sponsored schools/workshops are preferred.
