The University of Health Sciences & Pharmacy in St. Louis is seeking applicants for a tenure-track position teaching analytical and physical chemistry courses beginning August 2021. The successful candidate will be involved in developing chemistry courses related to three degree programs: pre-pharmacy coursework for the Pharm.D. Program, bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry, and master's degree in Medicinal Chemistry.

You'll have the opportunity to:
  • Develop and teach coursework required for pharmaceutical chemistry and pharmaceutical sciences majors including interdisciplinary, project-based chemistry labs.
  • Develop upper-division chemistry elective courses.
  • Utilize teaching and research spaces to form an independent, undergraduate research program.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team in the Center for Clinical Pharmacology.

  • A Ph.D. in analytical chemistry, physical chemistry or related chemistry discipline. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in both analytical and physical chemistry as well as interest in bioanalytical techniques.

  • To develop an active and sustained research program that supports undergraduate research at the College.
  • To demonstrate values of inclusion, justice, and diversity through teaching, research and service.
