Description
The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of Cytopathology (board certified) and interest in additional aspects of surgical pathology (Breast, ENT, Uropathology, GYN pathology). A surgical pathology fellowship would be of advantage. Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree. Board certification in Anatomic Pathology (and/or AP/CP) from the American Board of Pathology or equivalent and an unrestricted PA medical license/eligibility are requisites.
Teaching responsibilities may include participation in a broad spectrum of intra and inter departmental teaching activities including pathology house-staff and fellows, and medical student teaching is expected.
Clinical responsibilities may include AP/CP coverage at Pennsylvania Hospital.
