The University of North Texas at Dallas invites applications for its Psychology Adjunct Instructor pool for the Fall 2020 and/or Spring 2021 semesters. The number of vacancies is dependent on student enrollment, division needs, and dean approval. Your application cannot be considered until all required documents have been received.Position Summary:
Adjunct faculty plans courses and implements and evaluates teaching/learning objectives and student learning outcomes. Adjunct faculty undertakes the divisional and professional responsibilities of a part-time faculty member, including office hours. The successful applicant will be expected to provide instruction in a range of undergraduate Psychology courses, including Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Introduction to Learning and Memory, Statistics in Psychology, and Psychophysiology, among others.Minimum Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Psychology with at least 18 graduate hours in Psychology.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and executing courses in Psychology.
- Experience teaching and developing courses in university contexts, in both face-to-face and online modalities.
- Ph.D. in Psychology with significant experience in higher education.
- Successful experience teaching adults in a post-secondary institution.
- Excellent communication skills in multicultural settings.
