The Center for Telehealth at the University of Virginia seeks an experienced Fiscal Administrator to manage the financial operations of the Center. The Center for Telehealth serves as the research and educational arm of the telemedicine program at UVA Health. The Center currently supports approximately $ 4 million dollars of competitive extramural research grants, contracts, and state appropriations. The Center for Telehealth is the home of the federally designated HRSA funded MidAtlantic Telehealth Resource Center, serving eight states plus the District of Columbia.
Job Responsibilities Include:
- Development of the annual budget for the center,
- Management and analysis of the financials throughout the year (approx. $1.5M annually),
- Management of labor distribution across multiple funding sources and organizations,
- Management of revenue generating activities including invoicing and reconciling, and
- Pre and Post-Award management of Telehealth grants, including sub-awards with other institutions.
This is a restricted position; continuation is dependent on funding and satisfactory performance.

Education: Bachelor's degree
Experience: At least three years of grant and contract experience.
Licensure: Certified Research Administrator (CRA) certification is typically held.
