CORE JOB FUNCTIONS

Develops overall change management strategy, communication plan, training plan, and transition plan for change management initiatives. Leads, guides, and supports multiple project work streams. Act as leading change agent, including identification of change impacts to people, process, policy, and structure, stakeholder identification and alignment, appropriate communication and feedback loops, success measures, training, organizational readiness, and long-term sustainability Leads, drive day-to-day change management activities while providing the appropriate levels of support and coaching for UHealth. Analyze data, evaluate results, and develop recommendations and road maps across multiple workstreams Build and maintain effective partnerships with key cross functional leaders and project team members Educate and coach project team members, sponsors, and functional leaders on change management principles, tools, and their roles in effective change Develops, deploys, applies and maintains change agent networks along with a set of consistent processes, tools and templates for the people side of change caused by projects and organizational change efforts. Establishes parameters to measure the effectiveness of change management activities. Conducts readiness assessments, evaluates results and presents findings in a logical and easy to understand manner. Works with leaders and Human Resources to develop/ redefine/ confirm roles, procedures, responsibilities, accountabilities, support systems and incentives that address and reflect the changes identified. Works with teams and stakeholders, providing counsel throughout the change management initiative and ensuring objectives are met by increasing adoption and usage. Works closely with project managers to integrate change management plans and deliverables and coordinate roadmap planning. Develops a set of actionable and targeted change management plans, including communication plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan and resistance management plan. Collaborates with appropriate teams on plans and activities to integrate change management activities and support project implementation. Uncovers and voices different perspectives of the change. Identifies the most expected points of resistance to change. Develops strategies to reduce the resistance and uncertainty to foster a positive acceptance of change within the organization Creates and enables reinforcements and celebrations of success to increase employee engagement and buy-in. Identifies and evaluates potential risks associated with alternatives or decisions. Determines the activities, steps and adjustments necessary to deal effectively with the defined risk.

CORE QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in relevant field; Master’s preferred.

Certification and Licensing:

Prosci certified

Experience:

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience

Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes:

  • Knowledge of business and management principles.
  • Ability to direct, manage, implement, and evaluate department operations.
  • Ability to establish department goals, and objectives that support the strategic plan.
  • Ability to effectively plan, delegate and/or supervise the work of others.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, develop, and train others.
