Position Summary

Do you possess real-world experience, certifications, and a passion to teach and mentor participants to help them advance their career skills? Do you want to help us add to our product line with knowledge you may have that could benefit the workforce?

The Workforce Center for Business and Professional Development develops customized training for businesses and organizations. Business and Information Technology courses are also offered to the community through the Continuing Education Schedule of Classes. CSM is always looking for qualified instructors to teach these classes. Do you have an idea for a new course related to Business and IT that you feel is needed in our community? Are you interested in teaching any of our current course offerings? We want to hear from you.

We are currently seeking instructors in the following subject areas:

  • Project Management
  • Leadership
  • Management/Supervisory Development
  • Communication Skills
  • Microsoft Teams
  • Microsoft Word and Excel (Introduction, Intermediate and Advanced levels)
  • Bookkeeping, Payroll Administration, and QuickBooks
  • Business and Technical Writing
  • Business Etiquette and Professionalism in the Workplace
  • CompTIA IT Fundamentals+, A+, Network+ and Security+
  • Networking Fundamentals
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)

    Minimum Education and Training
    • Bachelors degree or extensive related professional experience required.
    • Industry certification for certification exam prep courses.
    • Subject matter/content expertise in your field.
    • Teaching experience is preferred; teaching experience in an online environment (using both web conferencing software and learning management systems) highly desired.
    • This person should possess enthusiasm and passion for student learning and be able to respond to the needs of students using a variety of teaching methods.
