Muhlenberg College

Vice President for Enrollment Management

Muhlenberg College seeks a strategic, empathetic, and data-savvy leader to serve as its next Vice President for Enrollment Management. The Vice President will benefit greatly from the College’s positive momentum, warm and collaborative campus culture, and clearly articulated strategic plan. The Vice President will inherit a well-established enrollment operation that has developed a signature high-touch approach to recruitment. In addition to providing strategic direction, organizational leadership, and professional mentorship to the highly dedicated staff within the Offices of Admissions and Financial Aid, the Vice President will report to President Kathleen Harring, serve as a key member of her senior team, and be an engaged and visible campus leader. Muhlenberg’s strong sense of community, deep commitment to student success, and willingness to go the extra mile for students and for each other, has enabled the College to adapt successfully to the challenge of the COVID-19 pandemic and to work together toward the future.

Nestled in a neighborhood of Allentown, PA, 90 miles west of New York City and 60 miles north of Philadelphia, Muhlenberg College’s 82-acre campus serves 2,200 undergraduate and graduate students. Muhlenberg stands out from other liberal arts intuitions in many ways, particularly due to the deep sense of community felt across the campus. Sometimes described as true renaissance thinkers, Muhlenberg students often double major in widely varying disciplines. Muhlenberg recognizes that an inclusive and diverse campus environment is essential in creating the type of learning community that produces such thinkers, encourages civil debate, and precipitates exposure to new and different ways of thinking, and thus the College prioritizes this work.

As a member of the College’s senior leadership team, the Vice President for Enrollment Management crafts and implements the overarching undergraduate enrollment strategy for the College, uniting Muhlenberg’s signature warm and personalized recruiting approach with thoughtfully designed, data-informed strategic initiatives. A personal and professional commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion is essential. For best consideration, please send all nominations and applications to:
