DescriptionThe UCCS Parking and Transportation division is responsible for providing safe, equitable, and efficient parking and transportation services to the campus community. This position is primarily responsible for ensuring that business systems in both parking and transportation are running as efficiently as possible and operating in supported environments.

Job Duties: 

Ensure all systems are functioning as expected including daily monitoring, production support, troubleshooting problems and system/security administration. Coordinate with internal and external constituents to ensure business process and infrastructure readiness.Analyze current business processes including data flow and recommend system improvements/modifications with enhancement requests.Actively look for ways to improve systems efficiencies and promote quality; documents operational procedures for all IT systems and software for staff to follow when needed.Coordinate activities such as developing plans, completing risk assessments, monitoring and reporting progress, and preparing necessary communications.Coordinate and perform all testing activities with technical staff and business users in support of application and environmental changes; provide Test Management support.Collaborate with others to implement new system procedures and changes.Manage implementation and the migration of changes, enhancements, and upgrades through testing environments into production.Collect and analyze departmental data and compile reports needed for financial reconciliation and strategic planning.Develop and deliver communications for all stakeholders when necessary, such as proposals, reports, presentations, recommendations, procedures, results of citation appeals, etc.Manage use of parking permit distribution system for Parking Services’ permit sales, inventory, and citations.Manage T2flex, Flexport, Digital Iris, BOSS, Parkmobile, Civic Smart, Genetec license plate recognition and other department related software.Setup, manage, and maintain department users for Columbia drive, setup new employees in various IT related systems. Assist in the creation of T2 reports and the ability to modify T2 functions that best serve Parking Services. Manage PCI Compliance program, working closely with UCCS IT Compliance.Manage visitor hourly and daily parking payment systems. Manage transportation software for Motorpool and Carpool reservations.Manage and update PTS website and T2 requests submitted via parking portal. Job Competencies:

Salary Range: Generally starting at: $59,949 - $74,937

    QualificationsMinimum Requirements: 

    A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education in Business, Computer Science, or related field. A minimum of two years of experience and knowledge of SQL, HTML, Microsoft Office tools (e.g. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)Preferred Qualifications: 

    A Master’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education in Business, Computer Science, or related field.A minimum of one year of experience working in a university or college setting.Experience working with highly diverse and wide-ranging groups (i.e. faculty, students, staff and parents).Experience working with Parking and Transportation related software such as T2, Parkmobile, Genetec.Experience working with Drupal, MS Access, Power BI and Crystal ReportingExperience in creating and managing Transportation Demand Management strategies.Experience working with Transportation Planning software or queuing software.Excellent problem solver with strong analytical and technical skills.Physical Requirements:

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit. Employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. Employee is frequently required to bend, knell, stoop, crouch, crawl and reach; medium energy requirements. Tasks may involve looking at a computer screen continuously for long periods of time, hearing within normal range. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
