An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Institute for Global Prosperity (IGP) for a Lecturer.

The post holder will be required:

* To carry out research, teaching, knowledge transfer and policy development in areas of the Institute’s interests

* To contribute to the IGP’s graduate, undergraduate and short course teaching programme, development of new programs of teaching, and to supervise MSc and PhD students.

* To actively participate in establishing new collaborations in the field of prosperity - globally and across disciplines - as well as pursuing research leading to high-quality publications.

We are specifically looking to recruit a dynamic and ambitious member of staff to lead and shape the MSc in Prosperity, Innovation and Entrepreneurship. This is an opportunity to take on a leadership role and to develop a unique vision for the role of entrepreneurship and innovation in delivering sustainable prosperity.

Candidates should have a good first degree (2:1 or above) and a PhD (or commensurate experience) in an area related to the IGP’s interests, with a demonstrated capability to initiate and conduct leading-edge research, an established reputation in their field, and a substantial publication list. The post holder should also have experience of designing and teaching postgraduate programmes in an area related to the Institute’s interests.
