Job Summary
The Executive Assistant serves in a confidential capacity by being responsible for the management of office operations, schedule of events, and flow of contacts. The Executive Assistant ensures orderly and professional conduct of business in the Vice President’s office; and consults regularly with the Vice President to establish the working agenda. The Executive Assistant works closely and communicates regularly with those who directly report to the Vice President, as well as others in the University community who are called upon to support or assist the vice president’s division. The Executive Assistant also works on Special Procts as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications- 3-5 years administrative, enrollment management, and/or student affairs experience
- Cultural competency as it relates to working with communities of color
- Ability to handle complex, sensitive, and confidential issues
- Strong organizational and program development skills
- Experience with budget management and an understanding of how to use limited financial resources
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Associate's Degree
- Bachelor's degree
- 5 or more years administrative, enrollment management, and/or student affairs experience
- Fluency in Spanish at a native speaker level

The anticipated starting salary range for this position is $40,000- $45,000.
