"Silicon spin qubits" A Postdoctoral Research Associate or more senior position is available in the Quantum Coherence Laboratory under the direction of Professor Jason Petta in the Department of Physics at Princeton University. The successful candidate will participate in the research activities of the lab with graduate and undergraduate students as well as other postdoctoral researchers. Silicon spin qubits are rapidly developing as a competitive quantum technology due to their small size and long coherence times. This position is focused on testing the limits of coherence in silicon by performing single and two qubit randomized benchmarking routines on existing devices, as well as testing new protocols for characterizing multi-particle entanglement. Candidates applying for the position must have a background in quantum devices or quantum control. The candidate will be expected to contribute to the writing of research progress reports. We seek candidates with strong leadership skills who will help foster a safe and efficient laboratory work environment. Candidates for the position must have a Doctorate degree in Physics or a related discipline. Appointments are for one year with the possibility of renewal for up to two additional years subject to performance and continued funding.
