Position Description:
As a member of the IT Services Systems Services team, the Systems Administrator is responsible for configuration, installation, maintenance and ongoing support of various servers, systems and technologies in support of our Systems Services service offerings to campus customers. The Systems Administrator will work collaboratively with other administrators, engineers, developers and leadership to provide back-end systems and application support for high demand, mission critical, complex business applications and functions. Typical responsibilities include installation and configuration of operating systems and application software, performing availability and performance monitoring, testing, troubleshooting and developing detailed documentation, and project planning and communications. The Systems Administrator will also provide support for related incidents or outages, conduct root cause analysis and document solution within defined service levels. Provide after hours and on call support as assigned or requested.
