Job Summary
Serve as a vital member of Office of Leadership & Community Engagement. Oversee and implement leadership & community engagement initiatives on the Armstrong campus. Lead initiatives in collaboration with the team on the Statesboro campus to support University mission and strategic objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Perform related duties as assigned to support the mission of the University
  • Coordinate marketing, assessment, and budgets for Armstrong programs
  • Supervise at least one (1) graduate assistant
  • Develop, implement, and oversee the Nick Mamalakis Emerging Leaders Program
  • Create and maintain relationships with local non-profit organizations to benefit campus-community engagement
  • Seek opportunities for students to invest in community through the Serve912 volunteer program
  • Collaborate with Statesboro campus to provide opportunities for Armstrong campus-based students to participate in alternative break experiences
  • Work with faculty and community partners to develop and facilitate the implementation of an academic service-learning program
  • Represent unit and University at recruiting events, open houses, and with outside organizations
  • Teach leadership courses each semester

Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree


Required Experience
  • Three (3) or more years of related work experience which could include professional work experience, graduate assistantship experience, and/or appropriate collegiate experience

Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Educational Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Student Affairs, Higher Education, Educational Leadership or related field


Preferred Experience
  • Program development, implementation and assessment experience
  • Teaching experience in higher education
  • Supervisory experience

Proposed Salary
$33,300 - $38,000
