Case Western Reserve University is seeking a qualified candidate to fill a non-tenure track faculty position: Instructor and Assistant Director of the Roger E. Susi First-Year Engineering Experience. This program is meant to foster hands-on learning and small group creative problem solving. Courses use tools from a variety of engineering disciplines, with MATLAB programming as the common data analysis and collection tool. Administrative duties will include managing program activities, developing new course projects, coordinating with on and off-campus partners, and supervising student teaching assistants.
Minimum Qualifications: Qualified applicants must have a graduate degree in engineering or related field and a minimum of three years teaching experience. The ideal candidate would possess seven or more years teaching experience, including instruction in laboratory or project-based courses, programming experience, and an enthusiasm for experiential learning.
