General Summary
With the guidance of one or more faculty, perform a mixture of services in support of faculty teaching and research as 50% of their service. The remaining 50% will be teaching in and administering the LEADership Minor.
The Staff Doctoral Fellow receives a stipend and tuition waiver subject to federal tax.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
In consultation with one or more faculty or staff members, assist in the support of the affairs of a program, department, office, and/or curriculum. Teaching in and administering LEADership Minor as well as supporting one or more faculty in teaching and research activities.
Other departmental related duties as required.
Qualifications
Ability to work up to 20 hours per week (10 for 50%) is required.
GPA of 3.0 or higher is required.
Admission and enrollment in a doctoral program is required.
Maintenance of a 67% course completion is required.
Enrollment in at least 6 credits for Fall and Winter semesters is required.
Supplemental Information
Must be admitted to the Educational Leadership doctoral program. Applicant must have strong writing and interpersonal skills and be available to work during typical business hours.

For a full-time GA appointment, the University provides a tuition scholarship for up to 18 credit hours in each academic year (September 1 to August 31) of the assistantship.
For graduate assistants who are appointed to part-time positions and for GAs who begin employment after the start of the semester, the number of credit hours covered by the award will be prorated.
