Primary Purpose of Department:

We provide highly reliable information technology infrastructure, tools, and services to empower the University to achieve its academic, research, administrative, and service goals.

Primary Purpose of Position:

The Technology Support Manager has supervisory responsibility for the team providing support for the Office of the Registrar. Provides leadership and guidance to the team regarding goals and objects while providing support for operations and projects. Collaborates with the Office of the Registrar and other OneIT areas to ensure objectives are met.

Summary of Position Responsibilities:

-Oversee and provide support for technical operations in the Office of the Registrar.
-Develop technological solutions and leads projects for improving services for faculty, staff, and students.
-Provide routine and ad hoc reports relating to student academic data.
-Supervise OneIT direct reports supporting the Office of the Registrar.
-Provide expertise in the use and management of Banner student module, including access requests and routine academic processes.
-Develop solutions for complex, non-routine, unique needs and changing campus conditions.
- Stay informed of issues and solutions pertaining to software used in Office of the Registrar.
- Participate in professional development activities and builds relationships with counterparts at other higher education institutions.

Minimum Education/Experience:

-Bachelor’s Degree
-3-5 years of progessive experience with advanced Banner usage and reporting

Preferred Education, Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

-High level of Banner competency
-Proficiency in DegreeWorks, WebFocus or similar reporting tools, Drupal or similar web content management systems, SQL, Google Suite and Microsoft Office products
