Position Summary:



The Paul Merage School of Business at UC Irvine offers three dynamic MBA programs – plus PhD, specialty masters and undergraduate business degrees – that prepare business leaders for our digitally driven world. Through our programs, students acquire the exceptional ability to grow their organizations through strategic innovation, analytical decision-making, digital information technology and collaborative execution. While the Merage School is relatively young, it has quickly grown to rank consistently among the top five percent of all business programs worldwide through exceptional student recruitment, world-class faculty, a strong alumni network and close relationships with both individual business executives and global corporations. The Full-Time MBA Program is a two-year program beginning every fall and it takes place over 21 months. Our curricula, course content, delivery modes, and co-curricular programs create an unparallel learning experience with a single goal: preparing our students to propel their careers and lead their organizations to success in a digitally driven world. Our Full-Time MBA degree is STEM-designated, dedicated to deepening student’s knowledge and leadership of management science and quantitative methods. Located in the heart of Orange County’s Tech Coast, students are surrounded by a network of cutting-edge technology businesses.



Position contributes to the goals of the Full-Time MBA Recruitment and Admissions team by recruiting and evaluating prospective MBA applicants for UC Irvine’s Paul Merage School of Business Full-Time MBA Program and MS Programs. Conducts informative consultations and represents the Merage School at information sessions and Open Houses and at various MBA forums throughout the U.S. and the world. Provides knowledge and insight into admissions guidelines and policies and provide superior customer service to applicants throughout the admissions process. Works with the team to help execute the recruitment, marketing, and admissions operations strategy. Evaluates applications and interviews candidates for admission. Serves as a member of the MBA Admissions Committee.



Compensation Range:



$21.98 - $27.78

Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.


Knowledge and experience working with a diverse student population. Ability to interpret and communicate policies and procedures to prospective applicants and the public. Ability to maintain cooperative relationships with schools, universities, community organizations and other institutions. Working knowledge of admissions requirements for campus / school / college. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing. Ability to use initiative and discretion in dealing with students and prospective students during recruitment. Ability to think creatively and bring new ideas to the forefront. Ability to work creatively, collaboratively, and effectively and to promote teamwork, diversity, and inclusiveness within The Paul Merage School of Business and on campus.






Working knowledge of academic programs, including curricula, admissions requirements, and financial aid programs at UC.



Special Conditions Required:



Requires ability to work weekends and evenings as necessary; requires periodic regional and national travel.
